Lake Rules
 

Our rules were developed to protect our fish and environment, and to ensure the safety of our guests. Please take time to familiarise yourself with the rules before you visit us.
** All anglers must hold a valid EA fishing rod license **

Fish Care

  • Anglers must be confident and competent in safely handling fish, ensuring they are not harmed or damaged landing and are returned to the lake promptly.

  • Anglers must carry fish care kits.

Coarse Lake

  • Maximum of two rods per angler

  • Barbless hooks only

  • No braided mainline permitted

  • No keepnets to be used at any times

  • Unhooking mats and landing nets required (Carp anglers, minimum of 36” net)

  • When photographing fish, do not stand with the fish. Always support the fish properly and kneel over a large unhooking mat

  • For fish welfare, minimise the time the fish is out of the water

  • All landing nets to be dipped prior to fishing

  • No form of pet food permitted

  • No artificial, plastic or imitation baits allowed

  • No bread

  • Rods must not be left unattended at any time

  • Fishing is permitted from designated peg only

  • All fish to be returned to lake

  • Juniors under 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult

  • Strictly no swimming

  • All litter must be taken home or placed in designated bins

Trout Lake

  • All fishing is to be carried out by fly only

  • Barbless hooks only

  • Be mindful of your surroundings when casting

  • All baits prohibited  

  • When photographing fish, do not stand up with the fish in your arms, support the fish and always kneel down

  • Juniors under 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult

  • When hiring a boat, life jackets must be worn at all times (declaration form to be signed)

  • Strictly no swimming

  • All litter must be taken home or placed in designated bins
